Grand Slam!
Woohoo!
I'm back from field camp Grand Slam!
I'm feeling really really happy
and glad
and thankful
and fortunate
that this field camp is finally over!
That means no more...
Navigating and getting ourselves lost in the forested area(oops!) garden in MacRitchie Reservoir-
Sleeping out in the garden in Mike being bitten by ants
and centipedes
and spiders-
Running up and down the gentle slopes during missions carrying our Lima Bravo Victor
and bicycle helmets
and water guns
and water hose
and water bomb launcher
and the mega-heavy-light, one time use hydro cannon-
Slogging around in wet uniforms
and wet underwear
and boots
and socks.
And much more of course.
But that'll be for me to know and for you to find out (when you serve NS).
Actually, field camps make me a happy man.
...
Not that I'm actually feeling blissful during the camp.-.- But the heavenly feeling when you actually see civilisation and realise that field camp was all a bad dream.=D
A very bad dream. That somehow makes you shudder a bit whenever you accidentally recall it.
....
Haha. All right, so it wasn't that bad, except for those heat rashes and wet uniforms, Grand Slam was tolerable.
And the bed looks extremely enticing tonight. Time to go to my baby. =)

There's Gina, who's been a great study companion and a really close friend (and maybe something more?) to me in my j2 days. Haha. Those who know me from NJ will probably know what I mean so I need not say too much...
There's Jin Xian, Ben Hong and Zhi Han. Sporty and always trying to be funny. Haha.
Dexter, whom I've met in BMT. Great buddy. We did almost everything together in BMT... Miss him now that we're separated. lol.
Actually there's many many more la. But the list is too long for me to type out liao so I just type out the first 3 who came to my mind first.
Anyway, I have to go back to camp liao. So byebye.
